Tyler Cochran Trio

The Tyler Cochran Trio sets out to combine the soul of the blues, mentality of jazz and attitude of rock into an experience that leaves you humming their tunes long after the music has stopped. Hailing from the Gem City of Dayton, Ohio the Tyler Cochran Trio began as a side project in 2014 and has evolved into Tyler’s main endeavor. Comprising of Matt Rookard on Bass & Phil Doncaster on Drums, the Trio has been cranking out tunes for over a decade. The band’s sound harks back to the power trios of yesteryear while keeping things fresh with catchy choruses and engaging live shows. Tyler’s guitar work is always on full display and complemented perfectly by singer-songwriter elements. Headlining events such as the Vandalia Star Spangled Celebration in 2015, 2019 & 2022 and playing many venues throughout southwest Ohio, the Trio has put together a live show that is sure to thrill audiences big and small. The Trio released their debut EP, “Any Given Sunday” in November 2020 and released their latest group of singles in 2025.
